Finding Strength in Sobriety: Your Path to Alcohol Recovery

Alcohol addiction can gradually undermine many aspects of life including relationships, career, health, and self-esteem. Although the feeling can be isolating and overwhelming, it is important to recognize the fact that healing is achievable and absolutely possible. Whether you or someone you care for is dealing with it, there is absolutely no need to be ashamed of looking for help. In fact, one of the braver steps a person can take is to invite help. The journey to bravely recover from alcohol starts with self-awareness and is maintained with community, therapy, and structured support.

Alcohol Use Disorder Overview  

AUD is a chronic, relapsing brain disease that compulsively requires the user to drink alcohol even when there are serious consequences. Millions of people are affected by this disease. Alcohol Recovery and Co-Occurring Disorders

Addiction and family dynamics interact with one another in a complex way. Recovery requires the whole family system to be involved, which includes family therapy that educates the family on how to trust and manage boundaries, enabling, and support without enabling.

  • Couples or family therapy

  • Healing is a journey that the family embarks on together.
